Sports Nutrition Brand Selects Enercon Industries’ Inline Induction Cap Sealers

The Protein Works entered the sports nutrition industry in 2012 offering health supplements from powders to pills to nut butters. Their superior product has always boasted an induction seal to lock in freshness, increase shelf-life and provide tamper evidence.

After outgrowing the Enercon handheld induction sealer, the Super Seal™ Jr, The Protein Works went back to Enercon Industries Ltd, and have since installed two Super Seal™ units onto their packaging production line, sealing containers with lids from 30mm to 120mm.

“We have seen improved productions speeds of around 50% and reduced our labour costs by a similar margin due to the move to automating our sealing process. But most importantly we have also seen a major improvement in the consistency of the induction seals which we know is vital to our customers overall experience of our products,” says Sam Chisnell, Head of Manufacturing at The Protein Works.
