Induction Seal Preserves Organic Product Freshness
As consumers become more health conscious and the demand for organic products grows, Enercon is thrilled to be able to support companies who are committed to the well-being of their customers and the sustainability of the environment.
The Synergy Company™ is a Certified B Corporation that exemplifies the benefits of organic sourcing as part of its commitment to nurturing the health and well-being of people, place, and planet. The company develops and manufactures 100% organic premium nutritional supplements.
Their Pure Synergy® brand products are manufactured in their award-winning, wind-powered, certified organic facility, in beautiful Moab, Utah. Because The Synergy Company makes everything themselves, they have a very personal, hands-on approach, not 3rd parties – they take full control of their products from start to finish – from their ingredients, to manufacturing, and distribution, giving them the independence to commit to and guarantee the highest possible quality standards.
We love the new Super Seal Touch. It’s extremely easy to operate and train. Every time there is a bottle switchover, our team of operators knows exactly which level to set the sealer to in order to get a perfect seal every time.

Induction Sealing Maintains Potency & Freshness
Free from any fillers or preservatives, the organic products rely on induction cap sealing to keep all powders, tablets, and capsules as fresh as the day they were made. Purity and potency are core components of The Synergy Company’s unique value proposition and maintaining their extraordinary quality standards requires reliable and effective packaging.
Ensuring that their organic products maintain potency and freshness is a process that begins with special ingredients and culminates with preserving that freshness through packaging that features a hermetic induction seal.
All Pure Synergy® products are packaged in amber-tinted glass jars to protect their contents against damaging elements like light and air. Different products have different sized jars and lids. When Synergy added a wider-mouthed jar with a 90mm cap to their product offerings, their old cap sealer was unable to accommodate the size. At the same time, they were looking to increase line speeds. That’s when Ann Walters-Cool, Director of Manufacturing, reached out to Enercon for a recommendation on a new sealer.
Super Seal™ Touch with Integrated Cap Inspection System
The new sealer needed to be able to seal the new 90mm cap size along with eight other cap and jar configurations. Enercon’s Sealing Application Specialist, Jim Phillips of Enercon, recommended the Super Seal™ Touch with All-in-One™ sealing head. The sealer provided the flexibility to seal all of their bottles while also being able to increase the line speed.
The Synergy Company also added performance-enhancing accessories like an eJector™, to reject faulty containers from the line, and system stack lights, to signal whether the system is on or off. “The add-ons and visuals are important to us since our operators monitor a few different pieces of equipment and they aren’t able to focus on a single piece,” indicated Walters-Cool.
Walters-Cool purchased the Super Seal™ Touch at the beginning of the pandemic when lockdowns were going into effect. Phillips and the rest of his Enercon team worked through virtual calls to talk through setup, new features and validation. “Most of my team was new and Jim and the Enercon team were super thorough,” Walters-Cool claimed. The tech operators also found Enercon’s expansive list of webinars and eBooks useful for training as well.
The Synergy Company is already reaping the benefits of their new sealer. Walters-Cool commented, “We love the new Super Seal Touch. It’s extremely easy to operate and train. Every time there is a bottle switchover, our team of operators knows exactly which level to set the sealer to in order to get a perfect seal every time.”
At the Synergy Company, getting the best organic product to their consumers is extremely important. “Using an induction seal ensures a fresh, organic product for our customers every time,” concluded Ann Walters-Cool.
